My name is Kiara Dean, Tyler’s wife. It is with the heaviest of hearts that I share that Tyler passed away on 29 January 2026 following a workplace accident when he fell from a roof.

I have done my best to ensure all enquiries have been responded to following Tyler’s passing through our dear friend, Shaun. I sincerely apologise if any have been missed.

Tyler took incredible pride in his business and his work. He genuinely enjoyed his work and loved meeting new people. He was knowledgeable, respectful, an excellent communicator and meticulous with his attention to detail.

Tyler was the director and sole operator of Blastworx Exterior Cleaning, so his business is currently on pause. If we decide to restart Blastworx in the future, we will update this notice and reach out to Tyler’s loyal customers and referrers.

I am so devastated that the business he built up through blood, sweat and tears is what ultimately ended his life, because for so long it brought our family flexibility and financial security, and was something Tyler was very proud of.
